Dr. De Guzman is committed to providing expert dental treatment and friendly, personalized service to ensure your child obtains the best possible care.
She received a Bachelors of Science Degree in Biology from the University of the Pacific and she earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) Degree from the University of California at Los Angeles.
Following dental school, she completed two additional years of post-doctoral training in Pediatric Dentistry. She was in the inaugural class of the new UCLA-Venice Community Health and Advocacy Training (CHAT) program which was integrated with the UCLA CHAT Pediatric Medicine training program. Dr. De Guzman is trained and qualified in the management of child behavior and the provision of care utilizing various sedation modalities as well as treatment of children with special healthcare needs.
As a UCLA faculty member in the department of Pediatric Dentistry, she currently enjoys teaching pediatric dentistry to the next generation of oral health care providers. She is also a member of various dental organizations including the California Society of Pediatric Dentistry, the San Gabriel Valley Dental Society, the California Dental Association, and the American Dental Association.
